Just wanted to share this video of one of my favorite Pro Cyclists, Levi Leipheimer, showing off his mountain bike skills. Incredible! I hope he's wearing his Road ID!
M.E., No I didn't post his on Twitter. I saw this on Facebook a few days ago, compliments of the Road ID folks. Seeing it on Twitter today prompted me to post it on my blog.
Tena, you're right, the person behind him with the helmet camera did a fantastic job holding his line. He obviously was busy looking at Levi and not everywhere else. Glad you both liked the video.
Hi! My name is Rich and I live in the Desert Southwest. I’ve been here since March of 2004, and believe me when I say that it has been a love/hate relationship since my arrival. Some days I love it, and other days, I hate it. I hope to share my cycling world with you, along with some of the amazing things I see everyday, and some of the not so amazing things I see. I will also share other cycling and fitness items with you such as book reviews, cycling news, fitness tips, and more. I’ve also been on a fitness craze for almost a year now. So far, I'm down 30 pounds with at least another 30 to go. I've used a combination of P90X, Cycling, and Running to get there. So, ride along with me on my journey. Besides cycling, I love fishing, camping, hiking, reading, and playing music on one of my guitars, or ukuleles! I typically ride about 100 miles a week and I am privileged to be able to enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in the United States. On the other hand, there are days when it truly feels like you're cycling in hell...
Were you the one who posted this on Twitter? I love this video so much, I've watched it now three times.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I don't know which is more incredible - Levi's ride or the rider keeping up with him and filming it all!

Helmet bonk you can hear at ~1:20 when he ducks a branch :)
